Celso Blues Boy, cujo nome verdadeiro era Celso Ricardo Furtado de Carvalho, não teve filhos. O cantor, compositor e guitarrista morreu em 2012, aos 56 anos, em Joinville, Santa Catarina, vítima de câncer na garganta. Celso Blues Boy nasceu no Rio de Janeiro em janeiro de 1956. Começou a tocar profissionalmente aos 17 anos, com Raul Seixas, Sá & Guarabyra e Luiz Melodia. O seu nome artístico é uma homenagem a B.B. King, com quem tocou na década de 1980. Foi integrante das bandas Legião Estrangeira e Aero Blues. O seu maior sucesso foi "Aumenta que isso aí é rock n' roll". A revista Backstage indicou-o como um dos 20 maiores guitarristas da história.

Listen to Mark's performance of this number from their initial Arhoolie LP. It became abundantly clear back then that we were watching the genesis of one of this generation's greatest blues harpist. Robben is superlative with/without his brothers backing him. Same applies to Mark. He doesn't have to take a back seat to any of the greats. He belongs in the conversation for sure.

What a beautiful moment with the rain coming down! I love how everyone is ready for "inspiration" and sound really in tune with each other. The Eugene shows were my favorite, but I just got back from Broomfield and wow did the band really put on an incredible show. I hope to continue taking it Furthur!
